Many patients make use of the Pro-Adjuster to receive spinal adjustments because it does not involve any turning, popping, twisting, or cracking that many people fear. First Dr. Sutton will engage in a one-on-one conversation with you to determine your medical history, and the causes of your problem. The adjustment and treatment procedures are then customized to fit the patient’s needs. The next step in evaluation and treatment is to utilize the Pro-Adjuster’s sophisticated computer analysis to pinpoint the problem areas. The information is then charted graphically on a computer monitor, so Dr. Sutton can detect the problem areas on each and every visit. Once the problem area is detected the adjustment follows. By applying the Pro-Adjuster’s Resonant Force Impulses precisely to the affected areas, you will receive gentle, effective treatment to that specific area, reducing the vertebral misalignment. This will relieve the pressure on the nerve, allow the nerve to heal, and restore the nerve’s ability to transmit signals to the brain more freely. Most importantly, it will help relieve the pain! In addition, Dr. Sutton may again take the readings after the adjustment with the Pro-Adjuster to compare the results and make sure the appropriate change has been made.

This scan measures the amount of current in the muscles along your spine. Vertebral subluxations (misalignments) disturb the function of the motor nerves causing an abnormal amount of electrical current flowing to your muscles (indicated by colors and abnormal patterns). The Symmetry scan identifies muscle imbalance caused by an abnormal amount of electrical current in the muscles on either side of the spine. The abnormal muscle pattern on the scan reveals an increased amount of tension on one side compared to the other side.

Often referred to as "muscle stim," this therapy involves low levels of electrical impulses delivered to the injured, painful tissues to reduce pain and speed healing. Often described by patients as a pleasant, "tingling" sensation, or "electrical massage," these impulses stimulate the body to release natural pain relievers, called endorphins. Physical medicine involves therapies that alter the function and performance of the patient. Emphasis is placed on the combined use of physical modalities; such as heat and cold therapies, electric stimulation, physical training with therapeutic exercises, movement & activities modification, adaptive equipments and orthotics.

Should Dr. Sutton determine X-rays, MRI, or any other tests are necessary to better serve you in your chiropractic care you will be informed. Additional tests such as these are on a case by case basis and will be determined by the doctor. X-rays are often necessary to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any underlying pathologies, and make your chiropractic care more precise.
